<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply unit for a vehicle capable of switching a feeding condition by a simple system even when the control device of the power supply unit for the vehicle is brought into an inoperable condition. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This power supply unit is provided with a power supply relay 6 performing switching operation of the feeding condition to each in-vehicle device, the control device 1 controlling the switching operation of this power supply relay 6, and a timer 3 stopping the operation when an operation stop signal outputted from the control device 1 is inputted. The timer 3 is configured to switch the power supply relay 6 so that the feeding condition to each in-vehicle device is brought into a prescribed feeding condition after a lapse of a prescribed time when the operation stop signal is not inputted from the control device 1. As a result, even when the control device 1 fails to normally operate, the timer 3 is allowed to switch the feeding condition to each in-vehicle device instead of the control device 1.
