PURPOSE: A shape steel transfer direction conversion apparatus is provided to reduce transferring time by rapidly converting the progressive direction of the shape steel without a separate space in transferring a shape steel. CONSTITUTION: A shape steel transfer direction conversion apparatus comprises a first transport unit(10), a second transport unit(20), and a transfer converting unit(30). The first transport unit and the second transport unit transfer the shape steel in a pre-processing direction or a post-processing direction. The transfer converting unit is formed between the first transport unit and the second transport unit. The transfer converting unit transfers the shape steel from the first transport unit to the second transport unit or from the second transport unit to the first transport part.
