<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer sheet which satisfies both flesh tone reproducibility and stability with the passage of time. <P>SOLUTION: The thermal transfer sheet with a dye layer having at least a dye and a binder on a substrate, is characterized in that in the relation between the dye and the binder comprising a magenta dye layer, the difference of the absolute values ΔSP value (ΔSP value=¾SPs value-SPp value¾) between the solubility parameter SPs value (J/cm<SP>3</SP>)<SP>1/2</SP>of at least one dye and the solubility parameter SPp value (J/cm<SP>3</SP>)<SP>1/2</SP>of at least one binder is ≤2.3 (J/cm<SP>3</SP>)<SP>1/2</SP>, and in that the ratio (D/B) of the content mass (D) of the dye to the content mass (B) of the binder (solid content) is above 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
