<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve device having a reduced total length by using a bearing between two valve seats for supporting a valve shaft. <P>SOLUTION: The valve device includes the first and second valve seats 23, 24 provided in a valve housing 22, the valve shaft 25 assembled on the valve housing 22 movably in the axial direction, and first and second valves 26, 27 mounted on the valve shaft 25 for abutting on the first and second valve seats 23, 24 at almost the same time during the movement of the valve shaft 25 in one direction to shut off a distribution passage. Herein, a holding plate 42 is provided between the first and second valve seats 23, 24 while being supported on the valve housing 22.
