GROUNDING ADAPTOR, METHODS FOR ATTACHING AND DETACHING VOLTAGE APPLICATION CABLE USING GROUNDING ADAPTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grounding adaptor and methods for attaching and detaching a voltage application cable using the adaptor, capable of always grounding a cable side inner electrode during a prescribed work of attaching and detaching a voltage application cable to perform the work safely.

SOLUTION: The method for attaching the voltage application cable to a bushing has the steps of: inserting a grounding adaptor equipped with a cylindrical portion having a hollow enabling to insert/withdraw a connection conductor and an insulating spacer for circuit interruption, into a cable connection port for a voltage application cable; fixing the adaptor to a bushing detachably; allowing a tip thereof to electrically contact the cable side inner electrode to ground the adaptor; detaching the connection conductor; attaching the insulating spacer for circuit interruption; and detaching the grounding adaptor. The method for detaching the voltage application cable from the bushing has the steps of: inserting the grounding adaptor into a cable connection port for a voltage application cable; fixing the grounding adaptor to the bushing detachably; allowing a tip thereof to electrically contact the cable side inner electrode to ground the adaptor; detaching the insulating spacer for circuit interruption; attaching the connection conductor; and detaching the grounding adaptor.
