<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the holding force of a grommet attached to a through-hole not in a two-body grommet with a resin inner attached thereto but a grommet consisting only of an elastomer. <P>SOLUTION: A grommet having a small diameter tubular portion and an enlarged diameter tubular portion continuous thereto in the axial direction is inserted into a through-hole of the body in a state with the grommet fixed penetrating a wire harness for vehicle and latched tightly to the circumferential edge of the through-hole of a body panel, wherein the circumferential edge of the opening on the large diameter side in the enlarged diameter tubular portion is a thick annular portion, a body latching recess having an open outer circumferential surface is provided in the thick annular portion, the outer circumferential surface inclines to reduce the diameter from the tip of the inclining sidewall of the body latching recess to the continuous side of the small diameter tubular portion, the inclining portion of the enlarged diameter tubular portion is thick up to a position with the same inside diameter as that at the end of opening on the large diameter side but thin from that position to a continuous portion with the small diameter tubular portion, and a slit is provided in the thick portion of the enlarged diameter tubular portion in the axial direction from the outer circumferential surface toward the body latching recess. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
