摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system and radio mobile terminal device which can select a cell in the mobile terminal device and can reduce the load of a radio base station device enabling increase in the number of lines. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This radio communication system comprises a plurality of radio base station devices NodeB and mobile terminal device UE, and a plurality of cells C1, C10 to C16 of a different character cover the same area. In the radio communication system, the radio base station device sends a DL signal containing intelligence information of a cell class toward the mobile terminal device, and the mobile terminal device receives the DL signal, determines the intelligence information in the DL signal and the signal quality of the DL signal, and selects the cell class to be communicated, based on the determination. By carrying out handover to the radio base station device NodeB of the cell class selected in the mobile terminal device UE, the interference wave level of an UL signal and a wasteful consumption of process resources in the radio base station device are suppressed, and reduction in the number of lines is suppressed.
