摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength conversion laser light source permitting efficient wavelength conversion even irrespective of changes in a phase matching temperature according to a higher harmonic output. SOLUTION: The wavelength conversion laser light source 200 includes: a fundamental wave laser light source 231; a wavelength conversion element 209 configured so as to convert a fundamental wave emitted from the fundamental wave laser light source 231 into a higher harmonic and to output the higher harmonic, the wavelength conversion element being made of a material whose light absorption properties change in accordance with the output of the higher harmonic; an output setting section 201 for setting a higher harmonic wave output value; and an element temperature switching section for switching an element temperature of the wavelength conversion element 209 according to the higher harmonic output value set by the output setting section 201. The element temperature switching section includes the element temperature holding section 216 for holding the element temperature of the wavelength conversion element 209 at the temperature switched by the element temperature switching section.
