PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate assembling work of a cover plate to a part of an instrument panel, and to keep the good appearance of a vehicular cabin by certainly closing a clearance with the cover plate. SOLUTION: A vehicular cabin front structure comprises the flexible cover plate 19 closing the clearance 18 between a steering column 3 and a part 4a of the instrument panel 4, and a mounting tool 21 for mounting the cover plate 19 to a part 4a of the instrument panel 4. The mounting tool 21 comprises a mounting pin 22 projecting out of the part 4a in a projecting-out direction C of the steering column 3, and a locking protrusion 23 projecting out of the part 4a under the mounting pin 22 in the same direction as a projecting-out direction of each mounting pin 22. Upper and lower through-holes 26, 27 are formed on an upper portion of the cover plate 19. The mounting pin 22 penetrates the upper through-hole 26, and the locking protrusion 23 penetrates the lower through-hole 27 to lock the cover plate 19 to the part 4a. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
