PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor in which the number of parts required for a neutral point line connection structure is reduced and disconnection in a motor coil can be easily detected. SOLUTION: This electric motor includes a stator having a plurality of motor coils 110U, 110V and 110W, and a neutral point bus ring for connecting the motor coils 110U, 110V and 110W. The neutral bus ring is divided into a plurality of bus ring pieces 141, and each bus ring piece 141 connects a single motor coil 110U of a U-phase, a single motor coil 110V of a V-phase and a single motor coil 110W of a W-phase.
