<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve appropriate injection control, and to enable an operation in a high hot water supply heating capacity. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In this heat pump type hot water supply outdoor unit, a compressor 3, a water heat exchanger 2, a first expansion valve 6, an intermediate pressure receiver 5, a second expansion valve 7 and an air heat exchanger 1 are connected circularly. The heat pump type hot water supply outdoor unit is provided with: an injection circuit which bypasses part of a refrigerant between the intermediate pressure receiver 5 and a second pressure reducing device, performs injection into a compression chamber within the compressor 3, and has a third expansion valve 8 and an internal heat exchanger 9 for performing heat exchange between a refrigerant decompressed by the third expansion valve 8 and a refrigerant between the intermediate pressure receiver 5 and the second pressure reducing device; a pressure detection sensor 12 for detecting condensing pressure; and a control device 14 for starting the injection control by the third expansion valve 8 when the condensing pressure detected by the pressure sensor 12 or condensing temperature calculated from the condensing pressure exceeds a first predetermined value and for stopping the injection control when the condensing pressure or the condensing temperature is below a second predetermined value smaller than the first predetermined value.
