摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an operator to properly handle, regardless of cultures of a person to talk to, by communication of a robot 12 according to the culture of the person to talk to. SOLUTION: The robot remote operation system 10 includes a central control device 14. If a call is requested from the robot 12, the central control device 14 selects an operator that is in an idle state when determining the language and culture of the person to talk to the robot 12. The selected operator sends a control command for remote controlling the robot 12 to the central control device 14 through an operation terminal 16. When the central control device 14 receives the control command, it converts an action command included in the control command to an action corresponding to the culture of the person to talk to, translates a communication command to the language of the person to talk to, and sends it to the robot 12.
