<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image data generator and an image data generation program which generate the image data of an image ornamented with other image easily. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A user inputs the type of a bar code or the information expressed by a bar code. An image data generator generates a bar code image based on a user's input. The user specifies an image in which a bar code is embedded among existing images. A region in which other image (bar code) is embedded is defined in the existing image, and the image data generator generates a composite image where the bar code is arranged in the embedding region.
