<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interlayer for laminated glass capable of suppressing the occurrence of spots which causes a poor appearance when a metal coating layer such as a silver layer is laid at the interface between the interlayer for laminated glass and glass plate, and a laminated glass made by using the interlayer for laminated glass. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The interlayer for laminated glass contains a matrix resin, a 6C-20C long chain carboxylic acid and a plasticizer, where the molecular volume of the long chain carboxylic acid is 145 cm<SP>3</SP>/mol or above and the content of the long chain carboxylic acid is 0.02-12 mmol to 1 kg of the matrix resin.
