<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for manufacturing an optical disk that has uniform thickness and causes no streak nor undulation, even when sticking a film via a spin-coated resin. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for manufacturing the optical disk includes: a sputtering device 1 for forming a recording film M through sputtering a substrate P having a center hole; a spin-coating device 3 for spreading a resin R on the recording film M through spin-coating the recording film M; and a sticking device 4 for sticking a film F having a center hole, onto the resin R. The sputtering device 1 includes a mask part 12 for masking the substrate P so as to form, on the substrate P, the recording film M having an inner circumferential diameter equal to or smaller than a diameter of the center hole on the film F.
