<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construct with a light-shielding dimming function capable of controlling the transmittance to infrared rays by application of a voltage, and to provide a glass laminate with a light-shielding dimming function using the construct. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The construct with the light-shielding dimming function has a transparent conductive layer, an electrochromic layer, an electrolyte layer, and a transparent conductive layer laminated in order, and the transparent conductive layers contain conductive fibers, and the electrochromic layer contains a material which has the infrared transmittance changed by application of a voltage.
