<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for training a driver to predict a risk scene in surrounding situation changing dynamically similarly to actual driving of a vehicle. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The driving training apparatus for training the driver to obtain risk predictive ability when a trainee drives the vehicle includes: a display means for displaying the situation around the vehicle seen from a viewpoint of the driver of the vehicle while the vehicle is traveling along a traveling route as a moving image on a screen; a risk scene prediction switch to be operated by the trainee; a control means to display the surrounding situation as a still image on the screen by automatically stopping the moving image in response to operation of the risk scene prediction switch while the moving image is being displayed; and a means for switching the still image displayed on the screen to the still image seen from a viewpoint different from the viewpoint of the driver and displaying the switched still image.
