<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level detecting device for miniaturizing a fixed structure of a holder. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The liquid level detecting device F includes: a float arm 1 rotated in response to variation of a liquid level; and a sensing part 2 for outputting a remaining amount signal indicating a remaining amount of the liquid level accompanying rotation operation of the float arm 1. The liquid level detecting device includes: a first holder 4 for holding the float arm 1; a second holder 5 for rotating components of the sensing part 2 based on rotation operation of the first holder 4; a rotating shaft 6 provided on any one holder 4 or 5 of the first holder 4 or the second holder 5; a body 8 having bearings 7 corresponding to the rotating shaft 6; a first connecting part 9 provided on the rotating shaft 6; and a second connecting part 10 fixing the first connecting part 9 by being provided on any other holder 4 or 5 of the first and second holders 4, 5.
