<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backhoe capable of preventing an oil supply port member of a fuel tank from becoming an obstacle for a driver to get in and out a driver's seat and allowing the driver to get in and out the driver's seat with ease. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This backhoe is provided with an engine mounted in a rear part of a revolving frame, a partitioning plate for partitioning a front side of an engine room on a front side of the engine, a side cover on a side and a rear cover in a rear part which surround the engine room, and the fuel tank mounted in front of the partitioning plate on the revolving frame. The oil supply port member of the fuel tank is extended behind the partitioning plate and on an inner side of the side cover. A protection member for separating the oil supply port member from the engine room is provided, and a recessed part for exposing an oil supply port of the oil supply port member to the outside is formed in the side cover.
