<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new modifying factor capable of modifying parkin protein, to provide a parkin protein function-reinforcing agent using the new modifying factor, and to provide a mitochondoria function-reinforcing agent, an oxidation stress-resistant agent, or an apoptosis inhibitor for reinforcing the functions of the parkin protein. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A substance originated from ChPF (chondroitin polymerizing factor) can saccharify the parkin protein. A medicine containing the new parkin protein-saccharifying factor can exhibit functions as the mitochondoria function-reinforcing agent, the oxidation stress-resistant agent, or the apoptosis inhibitor.
