<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate an operation for betting in a competitive game device receiving a bet on a rank of a racing body according to a plurality of types of specification modes. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This competitive game device is provided with: specification column display means 104b that displays an identifier specification column 77 for inputting an identifier constituting a betting unit, on a display 65; candidate betting unit specification means 104d that specifies the betting unit specifying the identifier input in the identifier specification column 77 as a candidate betting unit; and selection column display means 104e, displaying a betting selection column 79 disposed with an individual alternative S for individually selecting all the candidate betting units when the number of the candidate betting units is less than a predetermined number, and combined alternatives C for combinedly selecting the plurality of candidate betting units, when the number of the candidate betting units are predetermined number or more, on the display 65, and receives the betting according to the selection operation to the individual alternative S or the combined selection alternative C.
