In a case where the end of a gear change has been decided by gear change end decision means for deciding if a transmission has undergone the gear change, the coil resistance value of a motor which manipulates the transmission is measured by coil resistance measurement means. The coil temperature of the motor is estimated from the measured coil resistance value of the motor by coil temperature estimation means. In a case where the estimated coil temperature of the motor has been decided to be predetermined temperature or above by high-temperature decision means, the speed change inhibition time period of the transmission is calculated by speed change inhibition time calculation means, and the speed change of the transmission is inhibited during the calculated speed change inhibition time period.
