<p>The invention relates to a separating apparatus (10) for separating interconnected cushions (20) by breaking weakening lines (23) provided between these cushions. To this end, the apparatus comprises at least one circulating element (35) and conveying means (30), for carrying the interconnected cushions along the circulating element. The circulating element is arranged for engaging the interconnected cushions at least once during a circulating movement of the circulating element, in order to carry one of these cushions along over a part of the circulating movement at a carrying speed (v 2 ) which is higher than a conveying speed (v 1 ) ) of the conveying means. The invention further relates to an apparatus (1) for manufacturing cushions (20) by filling chambers formed in film material (2) with a gas and then sealing them, and a separating apparatus (10) according to the invention.</p> |
