The opaque thermoplastic multilayer sheet (1) useful in a fabrication of decorative sheet, comprises three extruded layers of which an internal opaque layer (2) and two external layers (3, 4) made of thermoplastic material are not completely opaque. The internal opaque layer comprises opacifying agent (2-5 wt.%) having a color pigment, which is carbon black, and other color pigment, which is closer to a color of the external layers. The multilayer sheet has a bulk density of = 1g/m 3>, a thickness of = 500mu and a uniform surface. The opaque thermoplastic multilayer sheet (1) useful in a fabrication of decorative sheet, comprises three extruded layers of which an internal opaque layer (2) and two external layers (3, 4) made of thermoplastic material are not completely opaque. The internal opaque layer comprises opacifying agent (2-5 wt.%) having a color pigment, which is carbon black, and other color pigment, which is closer to a color of the external layers. The multilayer sheet has a bulk density of = 1g/m 3>, a thickness of = 500mu and a uniform surface. The opacifying agent is a mixture of carbon black and titanium dioxide. A quantity of light transmitted through the sheet from a light source of 14000 lux is = 5 lux. A total thickness of the sheet is 150-360 mu m, and a thickness of the internal layer is 10-20%. Each side of the sheet has a surface with a particular texture, where the surface is mat and/or shining, and has an identical level of luster. The sheet is printable by screen printing, flexography, offset printing, laser printing Indigo or inkjet printing. Independent claims are included for: (1) a process of manufacturing an opaque thermoplastic multilayer sheet; and (2) a decorated or printed opaque article. |
