PURPOSE: A power on control method of television reducing a time for initiating an operation mode is provided to reduce a time for watching TV after inputting power on signal by supplying current power by initiating the operation mode. CONSTITUTION: A power on control method of television reducing a time for initiating an operation mode is as follows. If AC power is supplied in an interruption state, main power is supplied and television is operated as an operation mode(S20). Key signal is inputted for releasing mute within a waiting time(S40) after muting video and audio. The video/audio mute is played with the cancel release(S60) if the key signal is inputted within the waiting time(S50). |
