<p>PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for driving a mobile browser with a built-in OpenVG engine are provided to express an effective vector graphic element with simple operations and small resources, thereby operating various objects with a browser. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus and a method for driving a mobile browser with a built-in OpenVG engine include an input unit(20), a conversion generating unit(21), and a renderer(22). The input unit receives a running start signal of a vector graphic application including a vector element. The conversion generating unit converts a vector element of the vector graphic application corresponding to the running start signal into a vector element having an OpenVG type. The renderer renders the vector element having the OpenVG type by calling a corresponding API of the OpenVG engine.</p> |
