<p>N-Azinyl-N'-phenylsulfonylurea compounds (I) and their salts are new. N-Azinyl-N'-phenylsulfonylurea compounds of formula (I) and their salts are new. A : N or CR 7>; R 7>H, alkyl, halo or haloalkyl; R 1>alkyl, alkoxy, alkoxyalkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkylalkyl, aralkyl or aryl (all optionally substituted) or H; R 2>, R 3>alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, alkylamino or dialkylamino (all optionally substituted by halo), H or halo; R 4>, R 5>H, halo or substituted alkyl; R 6>alkyl or alkenyl (both optionally substituted); and Q : O or S. Independent claims are included for: (1) the preparation of (I); (2) 2-(2-fluoroalkoxy)benzyl-sulfonamide compounds of formula (II); (3) benzene sulfonyl compounds of formula (X); (4) 2-(2-fluoroalkoxy)benzyl-sulfonic acid halide compounds of formula (VIII); (5) 2-(2-fluoroalkoxy)benzylsulfonic acid-iso(thio)cyanate compounds of formula (IV); (6) 2-(2-fluoroalkoxy)benzyl-sulfonyl(thio)carbamate compounds of formula (VI); and (7) a composition comprising (I).
