The device (1) has a stator (3) i.e. inductor, including an inductor coil (5) with windings that are arranged electrically parallel to one another, and an accelerator (19) driven in rotation by an induced rotor (2). A contactor (17) is provided with electrical contact elements, and controls supply of power only to a part of the windings in pre-rotation phase. The contactor controls the supply of power to entire windings in wide open throttle phase, where number of windings activated in the open throttle phase is two times greater than number of windings activated in the pre-rotation phase.
