METHOD OF OPERATING AIR CLEANER AND AIR CLEANER

PURPOSE: An operation method of an air cleaner and the air cleaner therefor are provided to offer quick response operation of the cleaner according to the size of noise detected through a noise detecting sensor. CONSTITUTION: An operation method of an air cleaner comprises the following steps of: operating the air cleaner with the air volume of a minimum state in a standby state mode(S110); detecting the noise of the air cleaner through a noise detecting sensor(S120); determining the noise size whether a detected noise level is bigger than the predetermined level or not(S130); detecting the time of the sensed noise(S140); and converting a mode of the air cleaner to a general operation mode in case the detected time is longer than the predetermined time(S150).
