<p>A method and device (10) for controlled filling of a channel (9) supplying tobacco articles (7), whereby a lead-in member (15; 16) is positioned inside the channel (9) to completely cut off passage along the channel (9); a mass of tobacco articles (7) is then fed into the channel (9) so that the mass of tobacco articles (7) is positioned contacting the lead-in member (15; 16); and, finally, the lead-in member (15; 16) is eased along the channel (9), while keeping the mass of tobacco articles (7) in contact with the lead-in member (15; 16), to ease the mass of tobacco articles (7) along the channel (9).</p> |
