<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound quality adjusting apparatus which enables a high-speed response to level variations of an audio signal. <P>SOLUTION: The sound quality adjusting apparatus includes: an LPF 1 for extracting a low frequency from an input audio signal; an HPF 2 for extracting a high frequency from the input audio signal; coefficient calculation sections 5, 6 for calculating filter coefficients based on levels of the audio signal extracted by the LPF 1 and the HPF 2; a bus boost circuit 7 for performing filtering processing to increase/decrease the level of the low frequency in the input audio signal in accordance with the filter coefficient outputted from the coefficient calculation section 5; and a treble boost circuit 8 for performing filtering processing to increase/decrease the level of the high frequency in the input audio signal in accordance with the filter coefficient outputted from the coefficient calculation section 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
