PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production process of an electrolyte membrane/electrode structure, by which occurrence of wrinkles in a solid macromolecular electrolyte membrane can be prevented. SOLUTION: The production process comprises the steps of holding a solid macromolecular electrolyte membrane 12 between first and second carbon paper sheets 14a, 14b, holding a portion of the solid state macromolecular electrolyte membrane 12 protruded from the carbon paper sheets 14a, 14b between first and second frame-like sheets 22a, 22b, holding outer sides of the first and second carbon paper sheets 14a, 14b between first and second sheet members 20a, 20b having air permeable holes 21 opposing to the outer peripheries of the first and second carbon paper sheets 14a, 14b, holding both outer sides of the first and second sheet members 20a, 20b between first and second paper wastes 19a, 19b having water absorptivity and holding both outer sides of the first and second paper wastes 19a, 19b to conduct hot pressing. |
