PURPOSE: A foldable start key device for a vehicle is provided to prevent injuries to a user due to quick exposure of a start key by controlling the exposure speed of the start key exposed from a case. CONSTITUTION: A foldable start key device for a vehicle comprises a start key(2), a cog wheel(16), a bearing unit, a lower case, a return spring, a push button spring, and an upper case(20). A first insertion hole is formed at the center of the start key. A joint groove is formed in the start key. The start key is extended in the longitudinal direction including a rotary part. The cog wheel engages with a gear of the rotary part formed in the rotary part of the start part. The support unit is inserted into the first insertion groove of the rotary part to rotate the rotary part. The lower case is inserted into the second insertion groove and has an insertion protrusion to help the rotation of the cog wheel. The return spring is formed between the cog wheel and the lower case(22). The push button is connected to the support unit of the lower case. The push button is coupled with a coupling groove formed at the first insertion groove of the rotary part and has a protrusion folding and unfolding the start key. The spring is connected to the lower end of the push button. The upper case is connected to the upper end of the lower case and protects components equipped inside. |
