The seal has a filler piece (1) provided with slots (5-9), where the slots limit flexible bars (11-15). The flexible bars obtain a maximum spring deflection corresponding to slot width. The slots are broader than permissible spring deflection of the bars, and a stop serves as a path limitation for the flexible bars. The stop is formed by a projection (17) reducing the slot width, where transitions of the slots are rounded to the projection. The slots (5, 7) running to an outer edge and the stop are radially and internally shifted at a distance from the edge.
