PURPOSE: A method for preparing oil-and-honey pastry containing herb powder is provided to prevent the oil-and-honey pastry from becoming stale and to extend the shelf life. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing oil-and-honey pastry containing herb powder comprises the following steps of: kneading glutinous rice flour, soymilk, and liquor and steaming the dough; pounding the dough with a rice-cake mallet; injecting the air into the dough uniformly; drying the dough until the moisture content becomes 10-15%; cutting the dried base to a size of 2~5cm; frying the base in cooking oil; mixing 1?“ one liquid selected among millet jelly, grain syrup, and honey, and 5~15g two herbs selected among rosemary, peppermint, lemon balm, and sage; sprinkling the mixture over the base uniformly; and covering the sprinkled base with popped rice or powdered bean. |
