PURPOSE: A generating apparatus installed in a water supply pipe is provided to implement repair and replacement easily without intercepting water supply. CONSTITUTION: A generating apparatus installed in a water supply pipe comprises a main line(10), an auxiliary line(20), a first generator(30), a second generator(30'), a storage battery(40), a sensor(50), and a controller(60). The main line includes an inlet(11) and an outlet(12), a rotating vane(15) provided between the inlet and the outlet, and a switching valve(16) which is provided between an bypass-water inlet through hole(13) and the rotating vane. The auxiliary line includes a bypass-water inlet(21) and a bypass-water outlet(22), an auxiliary rotating vane(25), and a switching valve(26) which is provided between the bypass-water inlet and the auxiliary rotating vane. The first generator includes a rotor which rotates by a rotation shaft(15b) of the rotating vane provided on the main line. The second generator includes a rotor which rotates by a rotation shaft(25b) of the auxiliary rotating vane provided on the auxiliary line. The storage battery stores the electricity generated by the first and second generators. The sensor senses the power generation of the first generator. The controller communicates an electronic signal with the sensor and outputs an electric signal to open or close the switching valves of the main and auxiliary lines.
