PURPOSE: An arc chute assembly for a circuit breaker is provided to reduce electrical arc by alternatively arranging cut parts of two deionization plates. CONSTITUTION: An arc chute assembly includes a housing(202) and a quenching part. The housing has a lateral axis line. The quenching part is arranged in the housing. The quenching part includes two deionization plates(208). Two deionization plates are separated along the lateral axis line of the housing. Each deionization plate has a cut part(220). The cut parts of two deionization plates are alternatively arranged along the lateral axis line.
