PURPOSE: A data communication method using a directional beam of WPAN and an apparatus thereof for reducing a time for restoring a link are provided to reduce wireless resource and time for restoring the link even though the data communication link using the directional beam of WPAN is shut down. CONSTITUTION: A data communication method using a directional beam of WPAN and an apparatus thereof for reducing a time for restoring a link are as follows. A priority of beam path capable of forming a second device and a link is set as a priority(402). A list of beam path in which the priority is set up is created. A link with the second device is formed with reference to the generated list(405).
