PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obviate the occurrence of a flaw in a molding at the time of detaching upper and lower dies and a cam die after undercut molding with a powder molding apparatus. SOLUTION: This powder molding apparatus has an upper die 20 and lower die 30 which respectively have die holes 20a, 30a, the cam die consisting of plural divided bodies 41, 42 which have the die portions to delineate the undercut part of the molding, are arranged to be held between the opposite end faces of the upper and lower dies and are moved back and forth in a direction perpendicular to the forward and backward moving direction of the upper and lower dies and the upper punch and the lower punch. At the time of detaching the upper and lower dies in the state of pressing and holding the molding by the upper and lower punches after molding of the molding having the undercut part, the pressing load of the upper and lower punches to be applied on the molding is so controlled as to attain the first pressing load and the pressing load of the upper and lower punches to be applied on the molding at the time of detaching the cam dies is so controlled as to attain the second pressing load, respectively independently. |
