PURPOSE: A method for patterning of hemispherical photonic crystalline and fabrication of photonic crystals with various shapes using photocurable colloidal suspensions is provided to make photonic crystalline massively. CONSTITUTION: A method for patterning of hemispherical photonic crystalline using photocurable colloidal suspensions comprises a step for forming droplet of a hemisphere shape by dispersing a colloidal particle on UV curing macromolecular solution, and a step for solidifying the droplet by irradiating ultraviolet rays. A substrate is made of a substrate in which lipophilic material is coated or made of the lipophilic material.
