METHOD OF OPTIMUM DESIGN OF PERIODIC SPARSE ARRAYS FOR ULTRASOUND IMAGE SYSTEM

摘要

PURPOSE: A method of optimum design of periodic sparse arrays for an ultrasound image system is provided to obtain the same effect in using a desired diameter when using a small channel without increase complex of hardware. CONSTITUTION: An ultrasound image system includes array change factor which are composed of N elements. A method of optimum design of periodic sparse arrays for an ultrasound image system is comprised of the steps: setting up a period of periodic sparse arrays where common grating lobe is not generated and the number of the element from a sparse arrays of transmission and reception.
