PURPOSE: A virtual machine management system and a method for managing processor resources thereof are provided to utilize processor resources efficiently by dynamically allocating processors to plural virtual machines. CONSTITUTION: A method for managing processor resources of a virtual machine management system comprises the steps of: receiving a processor allocation request from at least one virtual machine(110,120); judging whether or not the allocation of a requested processor is possible; writing out a standby list when the processor allocation is disabled; and allocating a secured processor according to the standby list if the processor is secured.
