The method involves determining restitution times (T1, T2) for components of a flow of signals, respectively. A restitution time difference is determined by calculating a difference between the restitution times. The components are transmitted from a transmitter to a signal receiving equipment by respecting the determined restitution time difference, where the component having long restitution time is transmitted initially. The components respectively have audio and video data that are decoded according to MPEG-2standard.
