The reservoir (1) has transforming units for transforming high pressure in an inlet for delivering average pressure at an exit. The transforming units have a connecting device for connecting the transforming units to a vehicle and its thermal protection, and a compact predefined flow expansion valve (2) fixed on a small gas chamber (3) opens or closes according to need. Connecting units connect the reservoir by a cylindrical element to a base (8) fixed on the vehicle, and a synthetic envelope (10) protects the reservoir from a solar radiation. The reservoir has shape of parallelepiped, cylindrical or spherical, and is made of steel, and the envelope is made of synthetic material.
