METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING COLOR FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a color filter for lessening occurrence of void even when storing a substrate for forming a color filter from plasma radiation for liquid-repelling of a shading part surface to water-washing for a prescribed time period.

SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the color filter includes: a plasma process for liquid-repelling a shading part by performing plasma radiation on the substrate for forming the color filter having the substrate and the shading part provided with an opening part by being formed on the substrate; a water washing process for water-washing the substrate for forming the color filter after the plasma process; and an ink jet process for forming a coloring layer by applying application liquid for forming the coloring layer by an ink jet method in an opening part of the substrate for forming the color filter after the water-washing process. When a storing period is introduced between the plasma process and the water-washing process, a lyophilic process for lyophilic-treating the substrate surface of the substrate for forming the color filter is performed at least one time.
