<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for achieving space reduction and cost reduction in a transport-stream (TS) data processing device. <P>SOLUTION: A parameter data multiplexing apparatus 1 includes a TS data processing unit 11, a parameter data storage unit 12, and a parameter data multiplexing unit 13. The TS data processing unit 11 processes TS data. The parameter data storage unit 12 stores parameter data. The parameter data multiplexing unit 13 multiplexes the TS data and the parameter data to produce multiplexed data. It is enough for the parameter data multiplexing apparatus 1 only to store parameter data in a memory, without storing TS data in the memory. The parameter data multiplexing apparatus 1 does not require any bulk memory, thereby achieving space reduction and cost reduction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
