<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To embody an accurate, band-limited short-pulse generating circuit that is simple and has low power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The pulse generating circuit to output a pulse having a prescribed shape from an output terminal based on a starting signal includes: a timing generation circuit 10 for generating n signals (n is an integer of ≥2), where a phase sequentially changes by a prescribed amount of time difference from a point in time when the phase of the starting signal changes; a pulse width signal generation circuit 30 for generating a pulse width signal having pulse width corresponding to the duration of the pulse to be generated from the starting signal; filter circuits 142, 143 for band-limiting the pulse width signal; first and second power supplies 147, 146 for supplying prescribed potential; variable impedance circuits 144, 145 of which impedance values are controlled by the output values of the filter circuits 142, 143; and a switching circuit alternately changing between the output terminal and the first or second power supply by the logical function value of at least one of n signals via the variable impedance circuit for connection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
