<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet type grinding device efficiently discharging outside grinding dust and falling abrasive grains scattered in coolant, and preventing the surface of a grinding wheel from being clogged. <P>SOLUTION: This wet type grinding device has: a first platen having a first surface and turning around a rotation axis in a first direction, provided with at least one first hole communicating with the first surface; a second platen having a second surface opposed to the first surface and turning in the direction opposite the first direction around the rotation axis; first grinding wheel segments each having a fan shape, arranged in a disk shape and attached to the first surface; and second grinding wheel segments each having a fan shape, arranged in a disk shape and attached to the second surface.
