PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sorting device capable of efficiently sorting objects according to their sizes without giving any crack to the objects such as crops from a relatively simple arrangement. SOLUTION: The sorting device 1 designed to sort the objects according to predetermined requirements is provided with a separating and transferring means 20 transferring the objects while separating them. The separating and transferring means 20 is designed by using a plurality of conveyors arranged nearly in parallel and the opposing conveyors are driven at different speeds. The opposing conveyors are arranged in a V shape in a cross section in a direction of travel and in a zigzag shape in the direction of travel. The driving speed of one conveyor of the opposing conveyors, having an end poind in a more downstream side, is set at a speed higher than the driving speed of the other conveyor.
