<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water supply device capable of supplying sterilized good water in a quantity a consumer requires without damaging its mineral component or taste, and to provide a water selling store. <P>SOLUTION: The water supply device 1 includes a water supply tank 2 for storing water, a water conveying pump 3 communicating with the storage tank 2 via a pipe 71, and a dispenser 4 communicating with the water conveying opening 32 of the water conveying pump 3 via a pipe 72. An ultraviolet sterilizer 5 is attached to a certain part of the pipe 72 extending from the water conveying pump 3 to the dispenser 4. In this case, it is preferable to include: a bypass pipe 8 that branches from a certain part of the pipe 71 and joins to it in an area downstream of the water conveying pump 3; and water flow switching means (75 and 85) for switching a water flow between a part of the pipe 71 from the branching area 711 to the joining area 712 and a bypass pipe 8.
